“Unlock My Heart” by R. Taylor
She knew her lock by heart, having examined it with
mirrors and fingers often. It was set low in her abdomen,
decorated with silver filigree that stood out against the deep
purple of her ceramic skin. It had a rounded upper opening that
extended to a long rectangular hole, seven tumblers waiting
inside to be depressed by the properly-shaped key. The man
gazed at her lock as his key extended with a small grating
sound. It seemed to be a match, with its curved top and oblong
base, and crenellations that looked as though they would fit into
hers. But only the test would tell.
The man embraced her awkwardly, his arms clinking softly
against her gleaming back. He reached down with one hand to
guide his key into her lock. She adjusted her hips until he slid
smoothly in. She felt some of the tumblers inside her move in
intriguing ways in response to the pressure of his key, but
others remained still. With a faint sound of frustration, she
moved against him, suddenly desperate for her body to respond
more fully. His padded fingers gripped the small of her back as
they pushed their bodies together in long undulations, neither
knowing quite what was supposed to happen but each laden
with the sense that it had not happened yet. His key touched
places deep inside her that brought forth waves of pleasure, and
