It was a banner trip. Full of rich adventures as we arrived in Amsterdam to lead a training for 22 professionals from around the world; it all began with a tourist’s view of some of Amsterdam’s sights, such as the springtime blossoms painted against a backdrop of “Old World” architecture and design. And the museums were filled with treasures of the old masters and some dazzling new works. Our training was a big hit: With 9 sexuality topics covered in this high-voltage environment in a SAR, which is a sensitivity training created to push buttons, expand minds, open hearts, and deepen sexual awareness. What better place to be than Sex-Happy Amsterdam. And the location for our training was perfect, being in the B&B of the world famous madam and author, Xaviera Hollander, who is a living sexual icon and legend, along with sexual performance artists, tours of the local culture and landscapes, the sexual hot spots (sex museum, Red Light District, Mail & Female sex shop) and amazing delights of the cultural heritage of the Dutch, with a trip to the tulip fields and gardens, and a whirlwind tour of ancient windmills, heritage paints used by the Dutch masters, charming seaside towns, remarkable cuisine, and more….We topped that off with a side trip for a bit of self education about the history of chocolates and a privileged visit to the uber-erotic Dali Museum in delectable Bruges, Belgium, and the trip was a 10!!!

And go see this medieval canal-dotted town with shops galore, famous for its chocolate, lace, endless art, visual romance and sensory delights that never end…And take your camera and an umbrella in hand! Oh, and this would NOT be a good time to go on a weight-loss diet! How do you say OOH LA LA???? Voila, la vie en rouge (or Bruges)!
From the delectable fine cuisine, the aromatic and esthetically pleasing chocolates, to the Dali and Picasso museums with their array of erotic art paintings, Dr. Patti says goodbye to Dali and all of the memories …..Farewell, Bruges and back to the good ol’ US of A we go!!!
